About Nash Motors Company
Nash Motors Company, an American automobile manufacturer, was established in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1916. It operated independently until 1937, after which it became the automotive division of the Nash-Kelvinator Corporation. The company faced stiff competition from the Big Three automakers - General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler. As a result, Nash's sales declined after 1950, leading to its merger with Hudson Motors to form the American Motors Corporation (AMC). Despite these changes, Nash automobile production continued under AMC from 1954 through 1957.

Nash Motors Company was known for its innovative approach to car manufacturing. In 1938, it introduced an automobile heating and ventilation system that is still in use today. The company was also the first to use unibody construction in 1941. Other notable innovations include the introduction of seat belts in 1950, the production of a US-built compact car in 1950, and the launch of an early muscle car in 1957.
